Moncton, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Percival Barnaby, 80, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Jack and the late Ivah Barnaby (Duff).
Stephen will be sadly missed by his children: Chantal Barnaby (Shamus Donelle) of Dieppe and Luc Barnaby (Julie) of Maple Hills; his grandchildren: Samuel, Nathaniel and Ellie-Lynn; his two sisters: Susan Haskill of Charleston, USA and Lynn Swan (late John) of Rothesay; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife: Gilberte Barnaby (Goguen) and his brother: Robert (late Shirley).
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada.
