Bouctouche, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stella Girouard, 76, on Friday, January 24th, 2025, at Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Placide and the late Lina (Richard) LeBlanc.
She is survived by her husband, Ulysse Girouard; by her daughter, Lynn Cormier (Marc) of St-Antoine; by her son, Michel Girouard (Nathalie Poirier) of St-Antoine; by her grandchildren: Alexandre, Ariane, Danika and Sophie; by her sisters: Angie Doucet (late Denis) of Leominster, Mass and Huguette Arsenault (Fernand) of Florida; by her brothers: Clarence LeBlanc (late Nathalie) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Léo LeBlanc of Montreal and Paul-Émile LeBlanc (late Jeannette) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; by her brother-in-law, Patrick Nowlan of Bouctouche, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters: Elva, Viola, Clarisse and Lucille (on January 26th, 2025).
A special thank you to the staff of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche for the excellent care given to Stella during her stay.
Visitation will be held from Passage – Maillet, 29 de l’Église Street, Bouctouche, NB, (506) 743-2207, on Friday, January 31st, 2025, from 1 pm to 2:50 pm, followed by the service in the chapel at 3 pm.
