Cormier-Village NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Robichaud that occurred at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Robichaud Office, he was the son of the late Uldege Robichaud and the late Stella (Cormier) Robichaud.
After a 2 year battle with cancer, sadly Robi passed away on Jan 23rd, 2025 at the age of 74.
He loved the outdoors and cherished the time he spent developing his beautiful river front property. With a deep passion for God, politics, history, and world events, he was always eager to engage in thoughtful discussions and share his knowledge. Throughout the years, he brought many people closer to God. He had a great sense of humor, a generous heart, and a strong desire to help those in need. As a talented carpenter, his projects showcased his passion for creativity.
Above all, he loved his family and friends deeply and sought to share his faith with everyone he met. Robi will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
He will be sadly missed by his three children: Zaak Robichaud (Amber), Saison Demitor (Dean), and Salomé Robichaud; seven grandchildren: Blaise, Acadia, Abigail, Ayla, Kai, Aari, and Beau; his brother, Fernand Robichaud; his caring friend, Phyllis LeBlanc; his two nieces: Melina and Jessica; his nephews, Marc; his two dogs: Bravo and Noisette; as well as several cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sandi Harss; and his brother, Oscar Robichaud.
Visitation will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Wednesday, January 29th, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service at the same location at 10:30 am.
