Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Pauline Bastarache, 85, on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Lakeburn, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lester and the late Marie LeBlanc.
Pauline will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Willie Bastarache; her children: Eddie, Gisèle, Angela and Wayne Bastarache; her siblings: Paul, Gerry, Bernadette, Guy and Joey; her grandchildren: Eddie-Daniel, Elise, Melissa, Jennifer, Stephanie, Chantal, Brandon and Stephanie; her nine great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Bernice and Audette.
Pauline was a devoted wife, grandmother, friend, and hard worker. Alongside raising a family and being a dedicated wife, she spent over 20 years working as a waitress for Cy’s Seafood; where she met lifelong friends and served many people.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB E1A 1T3 (506 857-1901), on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 2pm until 3:50pm. The celebration of life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4pm.
Donations in memory of Pauline can be made to the Canadien Red Cross or to a charity of your choice.
A special thank you to her care worker Nim, for taking good care of her and becoming a true family member. Also thanks to Tina and Sandra for their emotional support, attention and care.
