It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Reine Allain, 81, on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at the Villa du Repos in Moncton.
Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Ida Leger (Dallaire).
Marie Reine will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Raymond Allain; her daughter, Francine Allain of Sainte-Marie; her grandson, Sebastien Cormier; her brother, Jean Leger (Denise) of Cocagne; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Alban; and her sister, Albertine LeBlanc (late Raoul).
Marie Reine worked at the Post office in Sainte-Marie for 20 years, where she built lasting relationships with many people from the community.
In respect to her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held for the family.
