Kimberly Dawn McBeath, 55, of Moncton, NB, passed away January 1, 2025, at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born on March 3, 1969, in Moncton, NB, to Dick McBeath and Linda MacFarlane.
She attended Harrison Trimble High School and graduated with high honours. She was able to put her French language skills into practice in the service industry, impressing locals and Quebecers alike with her fluency.
She held many jobs in the service industry, including Ziggy’s, where she made lifelong friends who remained a part of her life for many decades. She was previously a manager at Laniel Canada, and also worked at The Press Club, Baci, and several other bars and restaurants. As a naturally friendly and outgoing person, she was well suited for the service industry, and was very successful in her endeavours.
A magnetic personality, quick witted, and always ready for a friendly banter, she made friends wherever she went and had the ability to make people feel at ease. She was smart and adventurous, and not afraid to try new things such as white water rafting, sky diving, and downhill skiing in BC. She loved cats and dogs, and often surrounded herself with furry companions throughout her life. Her love of pets was only matched by her love of beautiful jewelry.
In addition to her loving parents, she will also be deeply missed by her long-term partner, Hughes Duguay, her many siblings, Debbie McBeath (Alan Keays), Mary-Lynn Ross (Jason), Ken McLaggan (Sherry), Alan McLaggan (Catherine), Tim McBeath (Josée), along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, past coworkers, and good friends too numerous to list.
A funeral service will not be held. Well wishes and cherished memories can be shared online at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca, and would be appreciated by the family. If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
