Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannine LeBlanc Daigle, 95, that occurred on March 5th, 2025, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Donat Melanson and the late Edorine (Landry) Melanson.
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Francine (Jean-Paul) Allain, Cecile LeBlanc, Helene LeBlanc (David), and Annette Robichaud (Robert); her son, George LeBlanc (Anne-Marie); her seven grandchildren: Angela, Andre, Michel, Marc, Christine, Philippe, and Christien; her ten great grandchildren: Elise, Alex, Yanik, Karine, William, Vincent, Patrick, Madelyn, Camille, and Benoit; her three sisters: Laura Allain (late Alcide), Leona Blandford (late Max), and Doris Goguen (late Ron); her two brothers: Robert “Bobby” Melanson (late Germaine), and Paul Melanson (Eilleen); her three sisters-in-law: Georgina, Dorilla, and Noella; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Francis LeBlanc (1982); her second husband, Joseph Daigle (2010); her two sisters: Zella Bourgeois (Edmond), and Anna Dupuis (Bill); as well as her six brothers: Leandre, Leo, Joseph (Ernestine), John (Rita), Albert, and Eloi.
Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Monday, March 10th, from 2 to 4 pm only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4 pm.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Extra Mural Program, and Moncton Albert House for the great care and compassion given towards our mother.
If desired, a donation in memory of Jeannine can be made to the Moncton Albert Hospice House, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
