Bouctouche, NB- It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Diane McDonald, 56, on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at The Moncton Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Ronald McDonald and the late Jeannita (Saulnier) McDonald.
Diane worked at Exxon Mobil for most of her career. Her family will never forget her unconditional love, she was very kind, calm, and generous. She enjoyed family gatherings, and in her spare time, she loved spending time at the Gérald-Leblanc library in Bouctouche where she enjoyed painting and doing crafts.
She is survived by a brother, Charles (Marie-Mai) of Bouctouche; a sister-in-law, Dianne McDonald of Bouctouche; her nieces Sylvie, Monique, and Lynn; and their children Patrick, Yanik, Shawn, and Rémi.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Gilles (2019), and an infant sister, Maire.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Stella-Maris de Kent Hospital Emergency Department and the Moncton Hospital Neurological Intensive Care Department. Special thanks to the Gerald Leblanc Library in Bouctouche,
Visitation will be held at the Coopérative funéraire Passage-Bouctouche, 29 Rue de ‘l’Église, Bouctouche, NB. Monday, February 10, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Saint-Jean Baptiste Church in Bouctouche.
Donations in memory of Diane can be made to the Gérald-Leblanc library in Bouctouche.
