Shediac Bridge, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anita Melanson, 72, on Monday, February 3rd, 2025.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Celeste (Arsenault) Boucher.
Prior to her retirement, she was an LPN at the Villa Providence in Shediac.
She is survived by her husband, Ovila Melanson; by her daughter, Rachelle Melanson (Martin Leger) of Cap-Pelé; by her son, Denis Melanson (Debbie Barr) of Halifax; by her granddaughters: Arielle, Maeve and Jaelle; by her sisters: Bertine Saulnier (Alfred) of Bowmanville, ON and Huberte Boucher (Roger Thériault) of Anse Bleu, NB, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Anita’s wishes, there will no visitation and funeral service.
In Anita’s memory, a donation can be made to the CHU-Dumont Foundation (Oncology).
