KELLEDJIAN, Hovakim “Kelly” Abraham – age 79, of London, Ontario, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on February 24, 2025, with his family by his side.
Lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda, of 39 years, and daughter, Sarah. Dear brother of Arda Naregatsian and Raffi (Mary) Kelledjian. Brother-in-law to Dennis (Kathy) Martin and Christine Martin. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews: Lara (Mike), Arthur, Abraham (Joseph), Aleen (Derrick), Matthew, Michael, Claire, Michele (Matthew), Dianne (Barry), Liza (Kevin), Brandon, Matthew (Brittany), Dana, and many more extended family members.
Predeceased by his parents, Abraham (1981) and Araxie (1999) (née Hayatian) Kelledjian; brother, Aram Kelledjian (2020); stepson, Jeff Hughes (1993); sister-in-law, Dawna Kelledjian (2025); and brothers-in-law, Glen Martin (1992) and Dale Martin (2023).
Born and raised in Aleppo, Syria, and having spent much of his time in Beirut, Lebanon, Kelly was known for his excellence in karate as a First Dan and his entrepreneurial spirit, having owned The Saddle Sore restaurant in Beirut in his 20s. He moved to Canada in 1977, where he met and fell in love with his wife, Linda, and started a new chapter of his life.
Kelly enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career in dental supply and equipment sales, earning the respect of many in the industry, as well as setting the bar for his peers. He was a familiar and friendly face at the London Squash & Fitness Club, a passionate golfer, and an avid reader with a special fondness for his book club.
He will be remembered for his sharp and dry wit, infectious smile, kindness, and deep love for his friends and family.
Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 3 at 1:30 pm. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre or St. Joseph’s Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
