It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Herb Bigham. He passed away at RUH on December 27th 2024 after a long battle with heart disease.
Herb (76 years old) born February 9th 1948 at St. Paul’s hospital in Saskatoon to Norman and Peggy Bigham. He lived as a child on a farm at Laura, Sk. Later on, moved to BC for a short period of time. They moved to Kerrobert for most of his school years, where he met his wife. After high school Herb drove truck for many years and STC bus in the 80’s.
Herb is survived by his sister Norma Davis, his wife Carol, son’s Trevor (Najla) and Darren. Four grandchildren Olivia, Tynesha, Draysen, and Bryden and great grandchildren (Kaedon, Brielle, Zaedi, Apollo, Rylee); Rylee (3 years old) his great granddaughter was the light of his life.
She brought out a side of him no one knew, she always made him smile even at his most down time. She loved to doctor her Big Papa! Herbs favorite memory were winters in Mexico, Carol and him met many friends, and made lasting memories. Mexico was his happy place!
Herb did not want a funeral. We will have a memorial gathering at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice
