Obituary of Helen P. Myer
MYER , Helen Pauline – age 74, of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, passed away on February 24, 2025, at home. Born in Rines Creek, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of Lincoln Dingle and Elvie Dingle of Rines Creek, Nova Scotia.
Helen was a brilliant seamstress who loved animals and baking. Although Helen did not have any children of her own, she nurtured and guided many children and grandchildren of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Myer; her stepsons, Adam Myer, Mark (Tamara) Myer; grandchildren, Lily Myer, Myles Myer, Talia Myer and Timothy Myer; sister, Stella Langille; brother, Leroy (Merna) Dingle.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, William “Bill” (Sharon) Dingle; half-brothers, Vernon Dingle and Ernest Dingle; and brother-in-law, Allister Langille.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, March 2nd 2025, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia.
