It is with heavy hearts that we regret to say that our dear mother, Helen Agatha Wade (nee Drohan), has passed peacefully away at home on Sunday, February 9, 2025, originally from Harricott, St. Mary’s Bay, NL, at the age of 83.
Helen is predeceased by her husband Walter Wade, parents Agnes Caroline Drohan (nee George) and Patrick Drohan, parents in law John and Catherine Wade, sisters and brothers in law; Betty Wade, Basil and Teresa Merner, Margaret Wade, Mary Hearn, John and Mary Wade, Richard Wade, William Wade, Michael Davis, Robert Downey, grand nephews; Davis Didham and Kyle Tremblett, fur babies; Tammy, Pudder, Whiskers and Tigger.
She is survived by her son Brian, daughter Barbara, daughter Sharon (Richard), son Darrell (Robyn) and much-loved grandchildren Molly and Maddie. Also leaving behind special godchild Gary Davis, sisters in law; Anna Marie Davis, Marion Bonia (Allan), and Dorothy Wade, brothers in law; Raymond Wade and Thomas Hearn, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives of the Wade, George and Drohan families. Special friends; Helen Noftall, Marguerite Singleton, and Muriel George and many neighbors on Winnipeg Street.
Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11 am from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
