Obituary of Heather Sargeant
SARGEANT, Heather (nee Frith) of Port Dover, passed away at her home on Monday, March 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward on February 21, 2025. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Lloyd and Andrea Sargeant of England and Clair and Jim Abbott of Ridgeway. Proud grandmother of Llaya and Dan Kendall, James Abbott and Sarah and Brent Sparrow, great-grandmother of Heidi, Maeva, and Nelle Kendall. Predeceased by her dear sister Gillian Bartram. A special thank you to Heather’s care team for their compassion and care, Elana, Shannon, Tracie, Ashley, Michaela, Sandra, Tamara, Grace and Probationary Nurses Jane and Lucy.
Heather’s greatest joy was her family, she was a homemaker and seamstress. She put her talents to work by sewing all the patches on hockey jerseys for her son-in-law’s minor hockey team. In keeping with Heather’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, Port Dover 519-583-1530.
