Heather Jean Munro
1941-2025
It is with heavy
hearts that we announce the passing of Heather Jean Munro, who left us
on February 7th, 2025, at the age of
83.
She was known for her
independence and kindness through her care and concern for others. She
had a true passion for fashion, always seen in beautiful skirts and
blouses that highlighted her elegant style. Although more reserved and
introverted – there were times such as during the tea parties, and
with her favorite people, where conversation flowed
freely.
Heather found so much
joy in the presence of her daughter, Jean Fisk (Dan Meloche). Whenever
they were together, her eyes would light up in a way that spoke
volumes about the love and pride she felt. Conversations with her
daughter, whether filled with laughter or quiet moments, always
brought a sense of peace and happiness to Heather.
She will certainly be
missed by all who knew her. Thank you to the MacArthur team at Kings
Regional Rehabilitation Centre for their compassionate
care.
According to Heather’s
wishes, there will be no public memorial. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville. Interment will take place in Halliburton
Cemetery, Pictou Co., in the springtime.
