HALYK, Heather Louise – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 in her 64th year. Predeceased by her beloved companion Tom Lyne (2022). Cherished daughter of Peggy Halyk (late Tim Trevena) of Brantford and the late Bob Halyk (Louise) of Burford. Loving mother & grandmother of Michelle Wight-Harding (Derrick) of Simcoe, children Taylor & Bailey (Danielle Harrington); Jennifer Halyk of Hamilton, her son Izaha; and Richard Wight (Ashley Lehmann) of Simcoe, his daughter Ella. Lovingly remembered by her sister Andrea Halyk of Simcoe and by her life long friend Jack Wight of Port Dover. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by her brother David Halyk (2021). Friends are invited to share their memories of Heather with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, January 20th, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow with a private interment of ashes at a later date.
