On Saturday, March 15, 2025, our dear Hazel was taken into her heavenly Father’s arms.
She now has her heavenly citizenship.
Hazel was born on January 31, 1941, to John Evans and Hazel Chivers. She was placed into the loving care of foster parents Edith & Edward Nablo. Hazel is predeceased by all parents and her husband Raymond George Winchester.
Hazel was known for her unique personality and stubborn determination and quick smile.
She loved her Saviour and Lord and was quick to share her faith whenever possible. She enjoyed singing her favourite hymns of praise, many time along with he Chuck Wagon Gang.
She will be missed by friends Paul & Lynn, Jenny, Betty, Rhea & Betty, Mike & Dianne and Don.
We send out a special thank you to the WHOLE staff of The Hon. Ray & Helen Lawson Eventide Home, Dr. McGarry & Dr. Nova for your gentle, loving and spiritual care over Hazel.

Cremation has taken place, and a funeral Service will be held for Hazel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisherville at a later date.
