It is with great sadness that the family of Hayward Leonard Ralph announce his passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Saturday February 22nd, 2025, at age 69 surrounded by his family.
He leaves to mourn, his girlfriend: Fay. His four daughters; Andrea (Patrick), Patricia (Jason), Katherine and Heather (Tyler). 4 grandchildren: Lucas, Nathaniel, Faith and Evan. Siblings: Melvina (Tom), Leman (Sue), Maisie (Dean) & Cora (Chuck) and his sister-in-law: Erna, as well as many extended family and friends.
Hayward was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Beatrice Ralph and brother Christopher Ralph.
Hayward cherished his daughters and grandchildren more than anything in the world. He found peace in the simplicity of life but was always a man on the go. Hayward could be found dedicated to his work, in the woods or on the ocean enjoying the quiet and peace of the outdoors. Though his love for being outdoors ran deep, it was his girls and grandchildren who filled his heart with the truest joy. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends as a kind hearted man.
In keeping with Haywards’s wishes cremation has taken place and he will be quietly laid to rest by his close family in Jackson’s Arm.
