Webb, Joseph “Harold”- Pleasant Harbour, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Harold Webb, who peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 92 in the Birches Nursing Home, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Pleasant Harbour November 15, 1932 he was a son of the late Harry & Mary (Day) Webb. Harold served in the Air Force for several years, after leaving the Air Force he had several jobs including, working in the grocery business, CN Rail for 9 years. While building his home Harold started his own business Maritime Pick up and Delivery which became Bestway/Pro-can. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards, Cribbage, fishing, hunting. Harold was a man of deep faith, whose unwavering love for God guided his life and brought him strength and certainty everyday. He was a constant source of wisdom, kindness, love and quotes to describe exactly how he felt 99&44 100% pure. His faith was evident in everything he did, from the quiet moments of prayer to the generosity he showed toward others. Above all, Harold cherished the time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by the ones he loved. Whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating holidays, or simply sharing stories, or his nightly calls with his daughter. His family was the heart of his world. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and the importance of staying united through faith and family. Survived by children; Wayne (Linda), Fall River, Michelle (Chris) Fawcett, Lower Sackville, 7 grandchildren; Ashley (Ben), Alexa (Gary), Lauren (Ryan), Rachael (Connor), Kyla (Kyle), Zoe (Jonah) Liam (Madyson), 4 great grandchildren; Heather, Cora, Xavier and Penney. Predeceased by wife Eva, daughters; Angela in infancy, Heather Milbury, siblings; John, Kenneth in infancy, Carl, Bernard, Mary Clark, Stanley, Shirley Currie and Anna Currie, sister in-law Dorthy Richardson. Visitation will be held Saturday February 22 from 2-4pm in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. Funeral service will be held Saturday March 1 at 10am in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Sheet Harbour. Burial will be held at a later date. We take comfort in knowing that Harold Webb is now in the presence of his Lord, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. His legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Family flowers only.
