Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 at KGH at the age of 86. She has gone to meet her beloved husband Ken Sweet Jr.. She was the loving mother of Debbie Shelley (Terry), and Donna O’Blenis (Don). She was the best Nan to Doug O’Blenis (Amanda) and G.G. to Kaitlyn and Ashley O’Blenis, all of Napanee. Gwen is survived by her sister Bonnie Wood (Carl) and sister-in-law Sharon Goodberry. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Rachel Goodberry and her siblings Glen, Larry, Beverly Bradshaw (James), Lester (Judy) and Carolyn Cole (Art). Special Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Honourary mom to Jim Cole, Marilyn Shelley and Carolyn Brooks.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 11 am -1 pm at Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee (448 Camden Rd. Napanee, ON). Service of Celebration and remembrance will take place at 1 pm in the funeral home. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
