It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Greg with his wife of 67 years by his side on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Cherished husband of Verna Barr. Dear Dad of Robert (Karen), Paul (Miran), Doug and Steven (Shauna). Proud and loving Grandpa of Laurel (Devon Cuddihey), Paige, Mitchell, Devon, Davis, Bennett, Alina, Andrew, Tianna, and Kiara. Dear brother of Eva (late Dick McManus) and Loretta (Ron Dakers). Dear son of the late John and Pauline (nee Smaggus). Predeceased by his sisters Gert (late Les Villamere), Margaret (late Jack Powers), Dorothy (late Duncan Campbell) and Shirley (late Arnie Kennelly) and his brothers Henry (late Peggy), John and James.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S Renfrew on Friday January 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Saturday January 18th at 10:30 am. Spring interment Parish Cemetery. Donations in memory of Greg may be made to Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Bonnechere Manor Foundation.
