In Loving Memory of Graham Ferguson
Graham Ferguson passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, February 28, 2025, in his 94th year. Cherished husband of the late Dorothy MacTavish, he leaves behind the enduring love and gratitude of his children, Kathryn, the late Ian, and Bruce (Magdolna). He was a devoted grandfather to Elyzabeth, Morgan, Connor, and Abigail, who brought him great joy and pride.
A lifelong educator and community leader, Graham had an illustrious career as a teacher, Vice Principal, and later, Principal of Sir Robert Borden High School, where he fostered a dynamic learning environment that united the arts and sciences. His dedication to student success and academic excellence led him to serve as Superintendent of Education for the Carleton Board, shaping and inspiring future generations.
A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery on Thursday, March 6. at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada: www.bloodcancers.ca/get-involved/ways-give-back would be greatly appreciated.
