Obituary of Gordon Coates
Gordon Alfred Coates was born on December 19th, 1929 in Cereal, Alberta to Frank and Lillian Coates and passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2025 at the Killam Health Care Centre at the age of 95 years.
With Great sadness Gordon leaves behind to mourn his loss, Dolores (wife of 72 years), his children, Sharon Ann, Raymond (Chris), Trish (Doug), Christine, Jackie (Jay), Mary Lynn (Curtis); 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; sisters in-law; brothers in-law; cousins; nieces; nephews and friends.
Please join with Gordon’s Family to Celebrate a Life Well Lived on Saturday May 24th, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Lougheed, Alberta at the Lougheed Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers please make your donation to the Killam & District Health Care Foundation, the Lougheed Trout Pond or the Lougheed Library.
