1992-2025
The passing of Gordon James Lewis occurred unexpectedly on
March 2, 2025 in Blacks Harbour NB. Born in Digby, Nova Scotia,
November 7, 1992 he was a son of Angela Allen and Kevin
Lewis.
A loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandson, Gordon
will be lovingly remembered by the light of his life, his son Atreus
Lewis, Hali lewis mother of child of Fredericton, parents: Angela
(Troy) Allen of Blacks Harbour and Kevin (Helene) Lewis of Pennfield;
Sisters: Amber Lewis of Blacks Harbour and Ashley (Phillip) Taylor of
New River Beach; his nephew: Daxon ;his maternal grandparents: James
and Mary Allen of Blacks Harbour; paternal grandparents Harry and
Virginia Lewis of Digby, Nova Scotia; Chosen father Larry Payne and
Chosen brother Travis Payne of Newfoundland, as well as several aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends.
Gordon graduated from Fundy High School class of 2012. Gordon
worked at Cookes as a deckhand on one of the harvest boat. Where he
created a bond with his captains and his crew members. A lover of
nature’s beauty , Gordon enjoyed being outdoors and going on
adventures to find the most beautiful landscapes. He would sit and
look out at the ocean and take his sketch pad and sketch. He enjoyed
drawing, painting and writing every chance he got. Gordon and Travis
shared a passion for wrestling. Once he learned the wrestling moves,
he would wrestle with his sisters. He then was able to share the fun
of wrestling with his son Atreus. Gordon loved to be around family and
friends and going for drives around the neighborhood to playing card
games with family members in the evenings. Gordon was a funny,
outgoing and caring person who would offer you the shirt off his back,
a true friend, but most importantly he was an amazing father to
Atreus.
Arrangements are in the care of St .George funeral home.
There will be visitation Saturday March 8, 2025, 2-5pm at the Saint
George Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March
9, 2025 at 2:00pm the St. George Baptist Church. Please dress casual.
In Gordon’s memory donations to heart and stroke foundation or mental
health would be greatly appreciated by the family.
