It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Gloria Gonzalez de Martinez, an outstanding woman known for her strength, resilience, and loving personality. Gloria passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on February 6, 2025. She was accompanied by her family and loved ones through her final moments.
Loving mother of Hebert Fernando, Katterine, Ingrid, Claudia, and German. Cherished grandmother of Paula, David, Laura, Daniel and Lucas. Dear sister of Lucy, Santiago, Alba, and Juan. Gloria was predeceased by her siblings Nancy, Amparo, Adan, Jaime and Jorge. Also remembered by her dear host family Andrea, Camila and Laura.
Gloria rests in peace as she reunites with her beloved husband Ever, and continues to spread joy in heaven as she did her entire life. Gloria will forever be missed and kept in memory of her loved ones for generations to come.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to Joseph Brant Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Gloria González de Martínez, una mujer excepcional conocida por su fortaleza, resiliencia y personalidad amorosa. Gloria falleció pacíficamente en el Hospital Joseph Brant el 6 de febrero de 2025. Estuvo acompañada por su familia y seres queridos en sus últimos momentos.
Amorosa madre de Hebert Fernando, Katterine, Ingrid, Claudia y Germán. Querida abuela de Paula, David, Laura, Daniel y Lucas. Querida hermana de Lucy, Santiago, Alba y Juan. Gloria fue precedida por la muerte de sus hermanos Nancy, Amparo, Adán, Jaime y Jorge. También será recordada por su querida familia de corazón Andrea, Camila y Laura.
Gloria descansa en la paz del Señor en compañía de su amado esposo Ever, y continúa esparciendo alegría en el cielo como lo hizo durante toda su vida. Gloria siempre será extrañada y guardada en la memoria de sus seres queridos por generaciones.
La visita será en SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (una cuadra al norte del Ayuntamiento), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), el sábado 22 de febrero de 2025, de 12:00 p.m. a 1:00 p.m., donde se llevará a cabo el servicio funerario en la Capilla a la 1:00 p.m. Si lo desea, donaciones en su nombre al Hospital Joseph Brant serán sinceramente apreciadas por la familia.
