Obituary of Glenn MacSween
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Russell MacSween at Markhaven Home for Seniors in Markham, Ontario on January 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Glenn was born to the late Rev. N. Russell and Ruth (Pushie) MacSween in Inverness, Cape Breton. He was also predeceased by his sister Heather. He will be dearly missed by his wife Judith (Iversen) and his children Russell (Janice) MacSween, Ingrid (Chris) Achong and Ruth MacSween (Nathan Soini). Also four wonderful grandchildren Jillian, Scott, Grace and Joseph. He is also survived by his brother David. Glenn had a rewarding career with the Department of Community Service of Nova Scotia. Throughout his life he belonged to many singing groups. His special love was the Cape Breton Chorale and for forty years was a devote member. His greatest love was his family and there will be many wonderful memories for us to cherish. As expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to the Markhaven Home for Seniors or The Alzheimer’s Society.
