Glenn William Goff Jr., a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, in his hometown of Windsor, where he was also born on August 30, 1954. Known affectionately as Glenn, he lived a life marked by laughter, kindness, and a remarkable knack for fixing anything that came into his hands.
Glenn’s early years in Windsor laid the foundation of a life filled with joy. He was the loving son of the late Glenn Sr. and Eleanor, and grew up alongside his siblings, the late Karen, the late Ron (survived by Cheryl), the late Darlene (the late Keith), Peggy (Tom), the late Sandy, Tracy, and Robert. Their childhood was one of camaraderie and shared adventures, memories that would become treasured stories in the years to come.
As an adult, Glenn’s life was further enriched by the love and pride he had for his children, Glenn Goff the third, Christal, Sherri, Jason, Justin and many grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, will forever hold onto the bright moments and the laughter that were hallmarks of time spent with him. His absence will be profoundly felt, and his memory will continue to inspire smiles even through the sorrow of loss.
An avid fisherman, Glenn could often be found with a fishing rod in hand, enjoying the serenity of nature and the thrill of the catch. He was equally passionate about bowling, where his competitive spirit and friendly banter made him a favorite among his teammates and competitors alike. Bike riding through the streets of Windsor brought him a sense of freedom and joy, and it was an activity through which he connected with others and shared his love for the outdoors.
Those who knew Glenn best would describe him as funny and kind—his sense of humor was a gift that he shared generously, bringing light into every room he entered. His kindness was felt by all who had the pleasure of his company, and it was reflected in his every action. His handiness was legendary; there was no task too difficult for him to tackle, and his ability to solve problems was matched only by his willingness to help others.
Glenn’s life was a testament to the simple yet profound impact one person can have on so many. His laughter, his kindness, and his skilled hands shaped a world that was better for his presence. As we say goodbye to Glenn William Goff Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart well-loved, and a man who will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
