It is with deep felt sadness and broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Glenn Kendall, age 66, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Predeceased by his beloved mother and father Anne and Clarence.
Glenn was a son, brother, uncle, great uncle, nephew, and cousin. He cherished his family, and they cherished him. Left to celebrate his life is his loving sister Sandra (John Farrell) Fitzpatrick; his niece Deanna (Francis) Neary; nephew Joseph (Erin) Fitzpatrick; great nieces Jessica Neary and Ella Fitzpatrick; great nephew Cole Neary; Uncle Harold (Ruby) Kennell, as well as extended family and friends.
We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all staff at Glenbrook Lodge for your support, kindness, and friendship shown to Glenn during his time there. Also, we extend a special thank you for your compassion shown to our family during the last few days and for the precious stories shared about Glenn during that time.
Glenn’s life wasn’t easy. It was filled with many challenges due to his lifelong mental illness. Through it all he persevered, always knowing how deeply and unconditionally he was loved by his mom, dad and sister.
Glenn touched the hearts of those around him. While living at Glenbrook Lodge, we are told, he had “quite the presence” there and will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place, and visitation will be taking place at Glenbrook Lodge, at 105 Torbay Road, on Monday, January 13, 1:30-2pm, with a service to begin at 2:00pm. Inurnment will be taking place following the service, at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road.
