It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glen Howard Good after a very long battle with cancer at age 77.
Glen was born in Kitchener/Waterloo ON August 20, 1947.
His only brother Stewart Good & his wife Linda live in South Carolina. Glen has one niece Lauren (Cameron) Gabriel who from SC.
He is survived by his wife Sandi Good High River AB
step children Jason Burns Okotoks AB
Cara (Jay) Nelson Longview AB
2 granddaughters Fallon Nelson (Nolan Cameron) Diamond Valley
Ashley (Ethan) Willows Longview AB.
Glen lived in Ontario. His love was a car club called The Ventures which still exists today.
He came west to see the Calgary Stampede in 1973 and stayed.
He worked as long distance truck driver for Patron Fright.
He then worked driving cement mixers for Burnco Rock Products.
He enjoyed working for the movies under Teamsters Union.
He spent many years following his granddaughters High School Rodeos and camped in rodeo grounds there. He loved camping and in his last years his favourite place, we camped on the Lazy H Brothers Ranch at the Pekisko Creek.
A celebration of life will be announced in the spring.
We would like to thank Dr. Dean Ruether from the Arthur J.E. Childs cancer clinic for his many years of treating Glen.
High River Hospital cancer clinic for their many years of treatments.
Dr. Oelschig, the nurses, volunteers & staff at the Foothills Country Hospice for there wonderful care for Glen during his last weeks.
