Their love story blossomed, leading to their marriage on August 17, 1991.
Together, Glen and Debbie built a beautiful life, welcoming their daughters, Isobel Olivia on April 17, 2001, and Madison Grace on March 5, 2004. Glen’s professional journey began at Parksheet Metals as a prototype design engineer, working on prestigious car brands like Jaguar, Bentley, and Aston Martin. His career path led him to Unipart Eberspacher Exhaust Systems, where his passion for health and safety was ignited. Glen furthered his education at Oxford, earning a master’s degree in behavioural psychology.
In 2012, Glen and his family moved to Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, where they quickly found a new community of friends. Glen’s expertise and dedication were recognised at Weir Minerals, where he rose to the position of Divisional Director for Health & Safety. His commitment to the Weir Family and the zero harm beliefs were a testament to his dedication and hard work.
Glen’s legacy is one of kindness, friendship, and unwavering commitment to safety. He leaves behind his loving wife, Debbie, and their two daughters, Isobel and Madison, as well as his adored Weimaraner’s, Ivy and Indigo. Glen’s extended family and friends will deeply miss his warmth, humour, and the love he shared with everyone he met.
Glen’s mission was always to ensure that people returned home safely to their families.
His memory will forever inspire those who had the honour of knowing him.
