The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Giuseppina Scardamaglia and his sister Anna Durante. Loving husband of Denise Scardamaglia (nee Allaire). Dear father of Lisa Ladouceur (Marc) and Frank Scardamaglia (Emerald). Cherished grandfather of Tyra and Rocco. Dear brother of John Scardamaglia, Bruno Scardamaglia and Tony Scardamaglia (Sue). Uncle to Lino (Marna), Michael, David, Michael (Heather), Pamela (Ryan), Sylvana and Marina and his great nieces and great nephews. Also left to mourn are his brothers and sisters-in-law Monique Dallaire (late Jean-Pierre), Nicole Tremblay (late Onezime), Aurore Allaire, Esther Gagnon (late Yvan), Jean-Roch (Jacqueline Belzil), Rose-Marie LeBrun (Cliff), Roland, Andrée Veillette (Michel), Jacques (Marielle Tremblay), Laurette Mayrand (Marius), Guy (Martine Doyon) and Normand (Guylaine Girard) and their families. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:45am then a funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society or Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
