Gillian (nee Buxton-Payne) Doherty-Derkowski was born in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England March 24, 1938.
She died in Toronto, Ontario December 21, 2024 at the age of 86 of natural causes.
She was the wife of Andrzej Derkowski, he was her second husband.
She had been kind and considerate to his children from his first marriage as well as his grandchildren.
She was a Registered Child Psychologist.
She was a published author of several articles and books on Child Care in Canada.
She supported several charities with donations and particularly Alzheimers Society where she volunteered her time.
She enjoyed looking at arts and crafts shows, reading and walking.
May she rest in peace.
