Passed away suddenly in Peterborough on Wednesday January 29th, 2025 at the age of 87.
Loving wife of the late Fred Taber (2006).
Cherished Mom of Jeff Taber (Sue), Steve Taber (Melanee), Charlie Taber (Ruth Ann), Julie Andrews (Ken) and Victoria Bingley (Tom).
Most loving grandmother of Jessica (Marc), Michelle (Bella), Amanda (Adam), Michelle (Jake) Sarah (Mike), Rebecca (Justin), Erin (Derek), Kate (Morgan), Jon (Jess), Fred (Kendra). Great-Grandmother of Sophie, Mason, Brody and River.
Predeceased by her brothers Howard, Joey and Alf and her sister Laura.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday February 5th, from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon.
A private Family service will follow at 12:30.
Gertie will be laid to rest with her husband at Groveside Cemetery.
In loving memory of Gertie, memorial donations the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
