Marie Alexina Germaine (Gerry) Fountain
It is with heavy heart that we announce Gerry’s passing at Cassellholme Home of The Aged on March 24, 2025. Germaine was 98 years young when she passed with her family by her side, and rosery in her hand.
Cherished Mother of Delorese Pinkerton who has no words for all that love that she gotten over the years and husband Garry Pinkerton.
Grandchildren who will miss the memories are Tammy-Lee Pappano and husband John Pappano. Also, Tonya Pinkerton.
Great Grand children include Bianca, Nyah and Alexa Pappano who would love a game right now.
Gerry came from a large family of 16 children. We would love to add all the brother and sister’s names here, but instead we want to take a special moment for each of them who has passed before her. That torch is still burning with the numerous nephews, nieces and friends who will keep the Ste. Jules name burning strong.
Only one sister is still with us, Anna Thibodeau our love goes out to you.
Gerry grew up in Sault Saint Marie but moved to North Bay in the later years.
Gerry could always be found singing and dancing even if no music was on. She just had it in her heart. She loved to play the piano and play cards. Dressing up was just part of the family tradition. Ask anyone and they will have a photo to share.
When you read this, please imagine that she is dancing and playing her keyboard in heaven, which she believed so strongly in. Doug will be ready to take her dancing one more time.
