Obituary for Gerardo Castro Orellana
October 12, 1954 – January 17, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother and friend, Gerardo. Born on October 12, 1954 in Arcatao, El Salvador, Gerardo was called back home by his Lord Saviour Jesus Christ on the early morning of January 17, 2025 at North Shore Hospice.
Gerardo was a kind man who loved by many. He will be missed sorely by all his friends here in Canada, as well as his families all over the world, especially in El Salvador.
Funeral Service for Gerardo will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Salvation Army Church, North Vancouver. There will be a visitation session from 9 am to 11 am beforehand. Repatriation of Gerardo is being finalized so that he will be laid to rest in El Salvador.
