Gerard “Gerry” LeBlanc Obituary
Gerard “Gerry” LeBlanc, 81, of Lakeville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was the son of the late Lester and Marie LeBlanc.
Gerry attended the Gospel Hall Church. He was a great family man, a dear friend. He was a very hard worker, who always had a project on the go. He absolutely loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. His favorite hobbies were pool and bowling. He loved fishing, and would take the opportunity to go fishing any chance he could. He also enjoyed walking. Gerry owned his own painting business for over 40 years. He also worked for Pepsi, Hub Meat Packers and CFB Moncton.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Anita LeBlanc; his children, Ken LeBlanc (Monique) and Tammy LeBlanc (Keith Cornick); grandchildren, Isabelle, Christian and Dawson; step children, Shirley Morton (Shane), Wendy Doucet (Al) and Brian Coates (April); step grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Damian and Deegan; brothers and sisters, Paul LeBlanc (Joyce), Bernadette Bastarache (Alex), Guy LeBlanc (Lauza) and Joey LeBlanc.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Linda LeBlanc (2006), and his sisters, Audette LeBlanc, Bernice Davis and Pauline Bastarache.
A special thank you to the nurses of the palliative care unit and Dr. Mansfield, all whom have truly been angels, sent from God.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
