Obituary of Gerald Pope
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Pope on February 21, 2025 at the age of 72. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched many lives with his warmth, kindness, and sense of humor.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Pat, his sons Trevor and Rocky and his beloved granddaughter, Jaycee, who was the light of his life.
He also leaves behind his brothers Rocky, Gordon, Curtis, and Jason, and Sister Vina, As well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Gertie, along with his brother Ed and sister Barb.
Gerald spent his career working in the oilfield, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. In his free time, he found joy on the golf course and had a passion for travel, especially trips to Maui and Mexico, where he made cherished memories with family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on July 5th at 2 PM at the Pomeroy hotel and conference centre in Fort St John, BC.
