The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the age of 88 years. Loving husband of Mildred Hanstke (nee Blanchard). Dear father of the late Daryl Hanstke, Dana Johnson (Lindsay) and Sean Hanstke (Anastasia Rodgers). Loving grandfather of Evan and Desmond. Predeceased by his brother William Hanstke. Remembrance donations to The War Amps of Canada would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Gerald’s life will take place at a later date.
