Gerald “Jake” Donald Stewart
Passed away at the Winchester & District Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Jake Stewart of Chesterville at the age of 81. Dearly beloved husband of the late Patsy Stewart (nee Helmer). Loving father of Angie Archambault (Kevin), Rod Stewart (Penny) and Sherri Stewart. Dear brother of Dale Stewart (Barb), brother-in-law of Rhonna “Tootie” Coates and Judi Helmer-McIntosh (the late Jack). Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Freida (nee Bailey) Stewart, brothers Trevor Stewart (Carol), Paul Stewart (Donna), brother-in-law Garth Helmer. Cherished grand father of Lacey Filippini (Eric), Staci Scharf, Jacob Stewart, Brooke Stewart, Logan Stewart, and great-grandchildren Kallie Filippini, Kole Filippini and Rowdy White. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A graveside service will be held at the Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville, on Saturday April 26 at 1pm. Donations to the Maple Ridge Cemetery would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
