Gerald (Gerry) Beazely was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 2, 1946, the first child of Albert (Ted) and Mary.
After graduation, Gerry went on to study law and business management. After finishing at UBC he went on to serve with Jay Cees, including teaching and writing papers, winning local and national awards.
Gerry married Jane and had 2 children, Scot and Leesa. They were divorced 12 years later.
In 1982 Gerry married the love of his life Sharron, who had 2 children, Tracy and Dana. Gerry and Sharron started The Great Canadian Stamp Company in 1987 and ran it together until Sharron’s illness caused him to sell.
After Sharron’s death in 2010, Gerry was lost and began searching for a purpose in his life. Over the next 15 years Gerry became a Reiki Master, teaching many students.
Gerry was predeceased by his parents and brother Warren (Deborah) and leaves behind 4 children, many grandchildren and his sisters, Joanne and Kelley, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada and the USA.
Gerry was considered to have a larger than life presence, and his life resonated with people worldwide.
Gerry is greatly missed by us all especially his laughter and bear hugs.
