Passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 61 years prior to her passing in August of 2022. Loving father of Patricia Kwiatkowski (Gerald), Marie-Anne Gut (Gavin), and Suzanne Lauzon (Todd). Cherished Pip of Sarah (Lucas), Brianna, Selene, Joshua, Payton, Samantha, Kyla, Avary and Olivia. Predeceased by his parents Alpha and Alice Bezaire. Dear brother of Germaine (J.P.), and predeceased by Roger (survived by Beverly), Lucille (Mark, Jan), Ernest (survived by Diane). Brother-in-law of Leo (deceased, survived by Donna), Antoinette (Mike), Edward (Connie), Pat (Marguerite), Bernadette (the late John), Isabelle (Dan). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Dad was a pipefitter at Ford Motor Company for many years before his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed working with his hands, both at his job and at home. He was a man of many skills who enjoyed woodworking, welding, fixing farm equipment or maintenance and repair for anyone who called. Dad built glider swings, lawn furniture and even end tables for his living room. He was a great fan of The Curse of Oak Island, causing a fair bit of frustration for Mom! Dad enjoyed having his kids and grandkids around, whether it was for a campfire with hobo pies, a ride on the tractor or for a fish fry. When asked what was most important for him, the answer was always “Family”. He had a strong faith and we are going to miss him every day.

Visitation Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with Parish prayers at a time yet to be finalized (please check back) at Families First, Amherstburg, 585 Sandwich Street (519-969-5841).
On Thursday, February 13, 2025, friends are invited to join the family after 10:00 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, LaSalle, 1425 Divine Street (Note location).
Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
