Georgina Elizabeth Stiver (nee Burnett) of Keswick Ontario, loving wife of James “Jim” Albert Stiver, passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Monday, March 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 84.
Georgina was very active in her community. Her bright blue eyes lit up a room everywhere she went. She loved to knit. A Royal enthusiast, she knit a sweater for the future king of England, HRH Prince George upon his birth which she received a thank you card and picture from Buckingham Palace.
Gina, daughter of Elizabeth “Betty” Burnett (nee Tanner) (George Spuhler). Eldest sister to Fred Burnett, Helen Burnett, Linda (Hal Hebden), Barbara (Russ Wallace); sister in law to Phyllis Stiver; favorite aunt to nieces, Brenda (Ed Carr), Dianne Madigin, Christine (David Farquharson), Natacha Card, Tammy Burnett and Kimberly Hebden; nephews Jeff and Christopher Wallace, Mathew Burnett, Craig and Derrick Blane; many great/grand nieces and nephews, and her surrogate granddaughter Jillian van der Voort have always held a special place in their hearts for her.
