Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, George Urban Gregory of Rollo Bay PE, passed away surrounded by love and family. Born on December 19, 1939, he was in his 86th year.
George is predeceased by his beloved wife Lois Ann (nee Conway) and will be missed by their children Alan (Susan), Sheri (Bob), Bradley (deceased), Dawn, Angela, and Erin (Jeremy). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Eric (Layla), Kyle (Cass), Emily (Jordan), Nathan, Camden, Ethen, Landon, Brinley, Makayla, Adalyn, and great granddaughter Valerie.
George is survived by his siblings Mary Jean, Melford, Mae, Lorraine, DJ (Debbie), Margaret, Lorna (Keith) and Melvina, his sister-in-law Irene, and his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. George will be remembered by many for his amusing story telling and witty banter.
Predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Renilda Gregory, his beloved son Bradley and infant grandson Shawn, his siblings Eddie, Sinnott, Kenneth, and Everett, his sister-in-law Dolly, his brothers-in-law Terry, Mike, Johnny, Leonard and Dan, his nieces Mary, and Kimberly, and nephew Charles.
By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A memorial Mass will take place at a later date. If so desired, donations in memory of George can be made to the St. Alexis Cemetery Fund or Kings County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
