CAMPBELL, George – The family of George Ronald Campbell is saddened to announce that George’s journey with cancer concluded on March 10th, 2025, in Brantford. George was born on October 23rd, 1951 in Miramichi, New Brunswick. George is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ina, and his sisters Lorretta, Evelyn and Theresa. George will be dearly missed by his wife of 41 years, Donna, and daughters Evelyn (Brian) and Patricia (Kyle), and grandchildren Elora and Luke. George will also be missed by his siblings Frank, Gary, Brian and Shirley, and many, Nieces, Nephews and cousins. George was an active and long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Paris. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Lee and the oncology team at Brantford General Hospital for their support as well as the outreach team, and the staff at The Hankinson House Hospice. To those who offered ongoing support, love and care for George and to the family, your kindness will not be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N. Brantford on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Washington Street, Paris at 11 a.m. Live-streaming of the service will be available on the Sacred Heart Brant YouTube channel. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations, to the Hankinson House (Stedman Hospice), Sacred Heart Church building Fund or a charity of your choice.
