1943-2025
George Robert Joseph Woodworth,
81, formerly of Port Williams, passed away peacefully in Windsor Elms
Village, Falmouth, on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born in Wolfville, he
was a son of the late Charles and Reta (Hill)
Woodworth.
George
worked for a time, driving a cement truck & dump truck but his
life was farming, taking care of 200 head (cows), calf operation and
spraying his orchards of cherries, pears, peaches, and
apples. He went to agricultural
college. He loved going to yard
sales, going for drives and collecting hats and tractors for display.
George had a kind heart and helped anyone who needed it; he loved to
talk about anything and everything. He enjoyed riding very
much his 1981 Honda Goldwing 1100cc.
George
is survived by his son, Benjamin; adopted son, Tyler; their mother,
Brenda; and sister Christine Cook.
In
addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister,
June.
In
keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. A private family burial will take place in Chipman
Corner Cemetery, Kings Co., at a later
date.
Donations in memory may be made to a
charity of choice. Funeral arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
