George “Moose” William Broder Obituary
On March 3, 2025, George “Moose” William Broder passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 81 years.
George is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Della; sons, Don, Dave (Bobbie), and Jamie (Rae); daughters, Karen (Shawn), Gloria (Ron), Ethel (Jason), Valera (Dwight); grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michelle, Elsie, Tyler, Kyle, Kris, Krystal, Tiffany, Anthony, Jayme, Damien, Cam, Tinesha, Dean, Jaxen, and Emily; as well as many great grandchildren and his best friend of 65 years, Jim Thomas.
George was predeceased by his parents, John “Billy John” and Lillian Broder.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one-hour prior at the Warburg Community Hall, 5339 50 Avenue, Warburg, AB.
George’s family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff of the Grey Nuns Palliative Care Unit 43. Their compassionate and excellent care in George’s final days was most appreciated.
