November 4, 1941 – January 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of George Churchill Spurrell, at the age of 83 years. George passed away peacefully at the Dr.G.B.Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 11, 2025.
Predeceased by his wife, Shirley Spurrell; parents, Joseph and Doris Spurrell; brother, Ross (Edna); sister, Ivy (Les) and sister in law, Eugena Spurrell.
Leaving to mourn his brothers, Jake ( Kathleen), Andrew (Alfreada), Reg (Rita), Don (Ivy), and Winston (Darlene); sisters, Marjorie (Harvey), Alma (John) and Alice (Allan) as well as a large number of relatives and friends.
We, the family would like to say a special thank you to Kim Hansford and staff at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor for the loving care given to George over the last 12 years. We would also like to say thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Dr.G.B.Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville,
