Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Thursday, February 20, 2025, George Bird of Cartwright, age 74 years.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Ruth Bird; sister Marion Pardy and brother Gary Bird (Stig).
Left with fond and loving memories his wife Violet; daughter Terri Lynn; step-sons Wade Dyson (Sandra) and Kelly Dyson (Melinda); grandchildren Abigail, Brady, Logan, Brooklyn, Cody (Allison), Adam (Keesha), Richelle, Kylie, Savannah, Gracie and Stella; great grandchildren Benjamin, Emma, Caleb and Cameron; sister Carol Bird; niece Lorna (Kevin), nephew Ed (Warlyn); great nephews Gary, Jake, Owen and Ian; and a large circle of family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Sunday, February 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. Cremation is to follow with a memorial service being held in Cartwright, Labrador at a later date.
