Obituary of Gary Teetzel
Teetzel- Gary of Oriole Park, Komoka passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 76. Dearly loved husband of Donna (Mills) Teetzel and a wonderful father of Jenna Koning and his predeceased son Ansen Teetzel. “Punka” will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Victoria, Hillary, Alexandra, Rylee and by his great grandchildren Mason, Charlotte and Abby with whom he was so actively involved. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Alexander and special uncle of Steven, Kevin, Mark and is fondly remembered by numerous cousins and friends. Gary had a zest for life he enjoyed boating, fishing and golfing. Many happy winters were spent in Florida where he enjoyed the outdoors and good friends. He could often be found enjoying Sunday/ Monday Night Football, and hockey season was a favourite. Gary loved being a part of, and living in Oriole Park, where he met many dear friends. Gary retired from the Ford Motor Company Talbotville. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandpa (Punka) and great grandpa, he will be dearly missed.
A Private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. No public visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arthritis Society in memory of Gary. McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S Lambeth entrusted with the arrangements.
