Obituary of Gary Franicis Mark Wilson
WILSON, Gary Francis Mark- With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Gary Francis Mark Wilson on December 28, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on November 20, 1969, Gary was the son of Carol Brewer and the late Garry Wilson Sr. (Cindy)
Gary leaves behind his loving mother, Carol Brewer; sons, Ryan Wilson, Brandon, and Blake Wilson; cherished dog, Rex. He developed a special bond with his Aunt Gail Brewer before her passing.
As the oldest of five siblings, Gary will be deeply missed by his brothers, Gregory Wilson (Ronda) and Marc Wilson (Sarah); sisters, Samantha Ryer (Kevin) and Cassey Malone (David). He will also be remembered by his nephews, Brody, Tyler, Ethan, Jacob, and Callum, as well as his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gary had an infectious personality. To know him was to love him. In his younger years, Gary was always on the move, usually in a Mustang, surrounded by friends, most of whom became lifelong friends.
Gary had a love for fitness and rarely missed an opportunity to be shirtless. He also enjoyed helping others with their fitness goals. He spent much of his time hiking and exploring with Rex. Dogs have always played a pivotal role in Gary’s life. Gary found peace in his bond with “Rexi-roo”, and we know that he has found that peace again, being reunited with Tyson, Duke, and Tia.
Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax. In keeping with Gary’s wishes there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
